The team started at the Prince of Wales Pub in Oxford at 8.45am with the weather conditions favourable. However, ground conditions were poor with recent rain making the paths very muddy and boggy particularly for the first 10 miles.

Paul Stout put in an amazing effort and finished in a new personal best time of 8hrs 8 mins. Paul Ali also achieved a new personal best of 9hrs 55mins. Shane finished around 11hrs 9mins which included a half an hour lunch stop with the wife!

The event was well organised with some helpfull marshalling. For the £40 entry fee you received a medal, performance T-Shirt along with food, water and support along the way.
