Paul Stout and Paul Ali competed in the Abingdon Marathon on the 19th October, for both runners this was their first ever marathon event.

The event was well organised with plenty of marshalls, drinks stations and support along the way. The course was reasonably flat aswell making it an enjoyable run.

Paul Ali completed the course in 3 hrs 55 mins, Paul Stout came in at the 4 hrs 15 mins mark after a few pit stops. Paul felt a little under the weather at the 15 mile mark and had to stop to be sick and then for a “sit down” but gamely ploughed on to complete the run.
